To start tracking your weekly goals and easily update your manual Actuals in your tracker, you can use one of four ways:
- Update from Daily KDNA Email Alert (the simplest way!)
- Update Using the Add Button on the Landing Page
- Update Using the Comment Button
- Log In and Select Update To Dos Tab
Note: If you are using the KDNA Power Dialer, the Actual values are automatically entered into your tracker for the associated To Dos (more information available in the Power Dialing manual). For now, we are focusing on manual entry only.
Update from Daily KDNA Email Alert
In the morning (and, in some cases, one other time of the day) you will receive a KDNA Goal Tracker Activity Email. The easiest way to update your Weekly Actual values is to click the Update To Dos button at the top of this email.
This button will direct you to a landing page that contains your goal and actual values. You do not have to enter your username or password to work with the landing page.
On the landing page, update your cumulative weekly Actual values for the To Do categories that have changed since your last input. Then press the Save button.
Update Using the Add Button on the Landing Page
A second way to update your actuals is to use the Add button on the landing page. Note: This feature is available only on the PC / Tablet view.
An example of when you might want to use this method is if you are making sales calls. You can press the Add button for each call and when finished, select the Save Changes button.
Update Using the Comment Button
There is a Comment button next to each To Do on the Landing Page. Comments are used for personal tracking of information that pertains to that specific To Do. When you select the Comment button, a dialog will open for that To Do.
On this dialog, enter the Actuals to Add to your current weekly total for this To Do. Enter your comment / information about the activity. Decide Yes or No to send email alerts (the list of recipients includes you and your Team Captain(s) / Manager(s)). Then click Save.
Log In and Select Update To Dos Tab
If you are logged into KDNA at https://kdna.kdna.com (to update your DISC Profile, work on your Business Plan, etc.), you can also update your Actuals by selecting the Update To Dos button at the top of the screen. This will take you to a page that is very similar to the Landing Page.
